How to Check the 2nd Phase Result Online
- Go to the official portal: xiclassadmission.gov.bd.
- Click the View Result option on the homepage.
- Enter your SSC or equivalent roll number, education board, passing year and registration number.
- Fill in the captcha and click submit.
- Your result page will show whether you have been selected and, if so, your college.
Applicants may also receive the result by SMS on the mobile number given in the application. The portal remains the reliable source, so always verify there. Portals can be slow right after publication, so try again after a few minutes.
Selected: Your 3-Step Checklist
A college name on your result does not mean you are admitted. Do these three things:
Step 1. Confirm your seat (নিশ্চায়ন) by 3 October, 8:00 PM.
Log in to the portal with your ID and PIN, go to the confirmation option and pay the confirmation fee through mobile banking or another approved method. In the first phase the fee was around BDT 340, so check the exact amount on the portal. If you skip this, your selection and application are cancelled.
Step 2. Wait for the migration result on 4 October.
Migration is automatic. The system tries to move you to a higher choice on your own list if a seat opens up. You do not apply and you do not pay. If your college changes, you go to the new college.
Step 3. Get admitted in person from 5 to 7 October.
Take these documents to your college:
- SSC marksheet and certificate copy (an online copy where accepted)
- SSC admit card
- 2 to 4 passport-size photos
- Printed online application confirmation
- Mobile numbers of the student and a guardian
Colleges may ask for extra papers, so check your college’s notice.
Result Says a College Name. Are You Admitted?
Not yet. A college name on your result means you have been selected. To keep the seat you must:
- Confirm your seat (নিশ্চায়ন) by logging in to the portal and paying the confirmation fee before 3 October, 8:00 PM. In the first phase the fee was around BDT 340, so check the exact amount on the portal. If you do not confirm, your selection and application are cancelled.
- Wait for the 2nd migration result on 4 October. Migration tries to move you to a higher choice on your own list if a seat opens up. You do not need to apply for it.
- Complete admission at your college from 5 to 7 October with your documents.

What If You Are Not Selected?
- Log in and check whether your application status shows any issue, such as a wrong quota.
- Follow the board notice for any further application opportunity. No further phase has been announced in the notice we have seen, so rely only on official announcements.
- You may also look at colleges that run their own admission processes, such as Notre Dame College, if their schedules allow.
Tips for Result Night
- Keep your roll, registration number, board and passing year written down.
- Use a stable internet connection or mobile data.
- Keep your bKash, Nagad or other mobile banking ready so you can confirm quickly.
- Do not wait until the last hour of 3 October to confirm.
